We’re bringing together deep selectors to play music from both the past and the future, breaking down borders and boundaries. An invitation to dig deep into your mind, body and soul, into the rhythm and out of the algorithm with music that transcends eras and genres inviting a full dance of unity and love.
Born in Mexico, Coco María grew up surrounded by the sound of music, rapidly developing not only a love for listening to the sounds of her childhood, but for sharing it too. Her taste for high-vibration music led Coco to discover Afro-Latin rhythms from South and Central America, Brazil, the Caribbean, and beyond. Today, her selection is a mixture of joyful and obscure gems ranging from jazz to samba, Latin funk, and cumbia, alongside an assortment of rarities from sunnier, far-off places.
Coco María hosted the flagship morning show "Breakfast Club Coco" on Gilles Peterson´s London-based online radio Worldwide FM. She can also be found showcasing her original sounds at festivals globally such as Worldwide Sète, Dekmantel, We out Here and more. In 2021, she stepped into the game of compilation curating with "Club Coco" on the Swiss label Bongo Joe. This included a song of her own and her debut as a composer" - Holly Fraser (Wetransfer)"
SweetNightJoe
SweetNightJoe aka Joseph Russell is an Italo/British DJ, music selector and producer who’s released on multiple labels including Early Sounds Recordings, Rett I Fletta and Bio Rhythm.
In 2020 he also signed to Gudu Records with a techno project called JRMS but his main focus has been on Sweetnighter, a monthly club night he’s been running in London since 2018 in venues such as Brilliant Corners, Giant Steps, Night Tales Loft and the Jago.
Overall he’s now been DJing and collecting records for over 15 years, with a passion for organic grooves without borders from the 70s & 80s.
Cosmo Sofi
Cosmo Sofi is a London based, Uruguayan DJ, former Worldwide FM radio presenter and graphic designer.
Sofi's profound connection with music spans half of her existence. Her curiosity and passion for culture and world music have driven her to explore the roots of various genres, resulting in sets that are eclectic and soulful with music from different times and places. You can expect from jazz to jungle, soul to house, ambient to dub and more. From all the various styles she digs, the common ingredient is - everything that has soul and a message to the listener to help expand the consciousness.
