If there’s a band who wrote the history of the Italian reggae scene it’s Africa Unite for sure.

Bunna, the lead singer of the band plays a special live set at Grow at this night hosted by London soundsystem stalwarts, Jah Revelation Muzik.

Blind Reverendo is an Italian artist and composer based in Barcelona who moves between reggae and dancehall. Since he lost his sight at the age of 8, Mario Rivoiro has exploited the possibilities that life offers him.

You may know Jah Revelation Muzik as Roots and Cultures specialist, but don’t let that fool you as the Soundsystem are able to play anything from Hip-Hop, Soul to any other genre you can think of. Formed out of the fusion of King Rastfari, Fugitive and Revelation in 1980. Jah Revelation Muzik has toured with MCs such as Culture, Ambassador, MC Troopa, Preacher Levi as well as DJ/MC Cecil Reuben The Selecta.

There are a limited amount of tables available to book of varying sizes and there are plenty of spaces available for walk ups on any event day.

Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.

With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our own drinks such as Vegan Hemp White Russian and homemade Hackney Spiced Rum.
