Disco Freaks and Grow welcome you with open arms to Gimme The Sunshine on Sunday 28th May. 

This annual bank holiday shindig is a biggie, as the boys are celebrating 10 glorious years of spinning records from the worlds of boogie, funk, house, and everything in between. 

Expect a day of summery disco vibes, all to the backdrop of that glistening canal in Hackney Wick. 

Oh and in between the sweet sound of vinyl from 5pm, there’s going to be a LIVE performance from soul artist Laville (Easy, Thirty One, This City). 

He’ll be wowing you with new material and hits from his gorgeous album The Wanderer (Acid Jazz), as well as a few bangers before Disco Freaks return with banging grooves until ‘late’.

Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.  

With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our spin on such drinks as Rum Punch, homemade Hackney Spiced Rum, Vegan White Russian and Espresso Martini.
