Introducing our monthly Midweek Meetup sessions!

Inspired by our widely successful Join In January campaign, where we made Grow a free entry venue for the entire month and ran numerous community focused events. We open up our venue to various groups and communities to hold meetings in our space on the last Wednesday of the month.

If you’re interested in hosting a meeting with us please contact reservations@growhackney.co.uk with a brief proposal of how you intend to use our space, numbers expected and any details that we should know.

Frankie’s Chess Club

The weekly nomadic club founded and supported by music lovers. Always on the move, the chess club has reached different bars, pubs, venues and gardens in east London bringing along a selection of eclectic chess boards and experimental records.

Entry is always free and any level is welcome. Get on the board, join the chess club !

The Chess Club DJs spin brain stimulating records all night long.

Bring your own board if possible as we don’t know how many people will show up for this event.

Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.

With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our spin on such drinks as Rum Punch, homemade Hackney Spiced Rum and Espresso Martini.
