Resident vinyl empress Marcia DaVinylMC returns for her bi-monthly party at GROW. Marcia & Friends cruise into the summer months at GROW, the epicentre party space of east London. As usual this soiree is a roadblock session for the all-vinyl showdown featuring women selectors, where "guys dance girlz DJ". Arrive early and stay late.
Girlz B Like is an event curated by Marcia Carr, a bonafide club legend, whose mixing and tune selection has taken her around the globe and led her to play peak time sets at We Out Here Festival, Cross the Tracks and get features in Mixmag. Following on from the GBL two years at GROW celebrations during International Women's week / month in March, we are deep into the spring season with this all vinyl throw down with resident DJ sista Marcia DaVinylMC
Making her London debut is Tenerife local Andrea Alvarez. At 22 years old she’s a DJ, producer, owner of the record company High Frequency Tenerife and promoter of drum and bass on the island.
