Join us for this virtual workshop where Hackney Herbal will be sharing their top tips and tricks for using herbs to support your wellbeing over the colder months. You'll learn about the properties of a range of medicinal herbs along with some simple ideas for making your own remedies.

Hackney Herbal is a social enterprise promoting wellbeing through herbs. They specialise in creative projects that connect and inspire people about the extensive uses of herbs. They are based at a garden in Hackney Wick where local people and volunteers are supported to learn about horticulture, herbs and nature. They run a variety of hands-on workshops, courses and events with all profits being used to fund free nature-based activities connecting people and herbs in Hackney.

GROW AT HOME
This online series will help our existing communities stay connected, continue to collaborate and learn, as well as reach new audiences.

More than ever, we want to continue as a grassroots facilitator and bring people together to share resources, learn and create, which in turn will boost wellbeing. And best of all, you can participate from home!

Starting Wednesday 12 August 2020, this online programme of live streamed events and virtual gatherings celebrates its partners and reflects the broad range and diversity of events we have presented since 2014.

This support was only made possible thanks to public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England & the Cultural Recovery Fund administered by the Arts Council.

About Arts Council England

Arts Council England is the national development agency for creativity and culture. By 2030 we want England to be a country in which the creativity of each of us is valued and given the chance to flourish, and where every one of us has access to a remarkable range of high-quality cultural experiences. Between 2018 and 2022, we will invest £1.45 billion of public money from government and an estimated £860 million from the National Lottery to help deliver this vision.
