Sunday afternoon on the garden terrace at Grow, come join Toni Rossano - aka The Showfa - for an afternoon of uplifting spiritual gospel sounds from Modern Soul, Disco, Boogie and beyond.
Toni’s has been an integral part of London’s nightlife and music scene for over 25 years. He’s done everything from working at Strut Records to being tour manager to the legendary Grand Master Flash. Over the last 10 years he’s been digging into Gospel, a genre of music that often gets overlooked but shouldn’t as it really is the genre that launched the Afro-American music before Blues. Toni is also known for his re-edited versions of unknown and rare gospel Disco records and also features on Run Dem Radio and Soho Radio. Toni will showcase a selection of his spiritual discoveries and if you are a fan of Funk, Soul, 2 Step and Disco this will surely lift you on a Sunday afternoon just “Let It Shine”
