MAKIN' MOVES BANK HOLIDAY SPECIAL W/ SOULMATES // DEEP & SOULFUL HOUSE

  • Grow 98c Wallis Road London, England, E9 5LN United Kingdom (map)

Bank holiday Sunday in August is always a key time in the UK music calendar for us and we’d love you to join us as we head down to the awesome Grow in Hackney Wick for this year’s bank holiday special on 27th August!

We’ve put together an exciting line up of quality djs for this one as we kick things off outside on the Regents Canal from 6pm with soul, jazz and soulful house delightfully served by DJs LEV and Dan Tenor-city. LEV is slowly craving a niche as one of the djs to watch and this summer has been extremely busy playing at Glitterbox, Up on the Roof and Suncebeat in Croatia  as well as holding down her radio show on Balamii Radio. Dan Tenor is another busy man about town, always supplying quality music at guest spots at One Hundred Shoreditch, The Standard Hotel, and We Out Here festival this summer and look forward to welcoming both on the 27th!

Then as the night moves in we head inside the club where our residents Matt and Jamesey will be joined by Rap Saunders and Dennis Christensen from Soulmates who have been an integral part of the London deep house scene for over 20 years. They will be providing their unique deep house sound, bringing with them one of the friendliest crowds with them!

Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.

With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our spin on such drinks as Rum Punch, homemade Hackney Spiced Rum, Vegan White Russian and Espresso Martini.
