The first of this Summer’s Soul On The Canal Side Parties kicks off with Mucho Soul Hosting with guests Aroop Roy, Dom Servini and Alena Arpels!
Aroop Roy
London-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and label head, who blends together the electronic edge of House, Disco and broken beat with the organic sounds of jazz and borderless sounds from across the globe.
Dom Servini
Dom has been filling dance floors since the early 1990s with his beautifully blended, open minded mix of music steeped in soul, jazz and funk. He is the head of renowned record label, Wah Wah 45s.
Also a successful radio DJ and music journalist, Dom’s sets are best extended and forward thinking, taking in hip hop, Latin, electronica, house, jungle, disco, jazz and everything in between.
Alena Arpels
Soul, boogie and disco DJ, Alena Arpels has recently compiled an album for Dave Lee’s Z Records, "Under the Influence Vol 9”
Mucho Soul
Mucho Soul also known as A.K.A (Alan Kenny Arscott) and partner in crime Ket Shah provide a serious yet discerning selection of music from across the whole Soul Spectrum!
You can expect everything from Classic and 2-step Soul, Jazz and Funk to Deep and Soulful House music at their various sessions, DJ Gigs and Radio shows and Ket and Alan always ensure that their guests apply the same musical policy!
Some big names have played alongside the Mucho Soul boys over the years including Gilles Peterson, Chris Bangs, The Soul Jazz Sound System, Rainer Truby, Atjazz, Jimpster, Makin Moves (Matt LS and Jamesy), Collin Patterson, Kev Beadle, Bob Jones, and many many more.

Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.
With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our own drinks such as Vegan Hemp White Russian and homemade Hackney Spiced Rum.
