Hidden Literature presents MY WORD, an intimate & soulful night showcasing talent in London through poetry, spoken word, and live music.

Hosted by Ovyuki, prepare yourself for a deep and fun night, with games & and giveaways throughout the show.

Temple, our DJ, will be providing vibes throughout the night playing the best in Hip Hop, Neo Soul, RnB, Lofi, and much more. 

A truly unforgettable and moving night of poetry and music, bringing poets and musicians from different genders, races, ages, creative styles, and all walks of life together.

Veterans and new performers are all welcome! 

Inviting all styles of expression to the stage, perform your poetry or songs acapella, with your own instrument, or a backing track on USB (MP3 only). Please label your track clearly for the DJ.

To book a table for you and your friends with a good view of the stage, click on the widget to the right and select the date of the event and pick your time. On event days we accept bookings till 8.30pm. There are a limited amount of tables available to book of varying sizes and there are plenty of spaces available for walk ups.

Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.

With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our spin on such drinks as Rum Punch, homemade Hackney Spiced Rum, Vegan White Russian and Espresso Martini.
