Grow is independent and grassroots with international impact. Local and emerging artists are programmed alongside international artists.
Since GROW opened our doors in 2014, we’ve hosted 250+ events each year and had over 150,000 people through our doors.
Young musicians have jammed with Abass Dodoo (Ginger Baker band), Japanese contemporary dancers and indigenous didgeridoo masters from Australia, to name just a few. Our artist partners credit the collaborations, regularity of exposure and payments as helping them hone their craft. Those for come to Grow for the entertainment, food and drink experience a span of genres and together we celebrate diverse culture from around the globe to down the road.

Shedding Histories is an evening session of reflective listening featuring a diverse selection of acoustic & electronic blends.
This episode features DJ and co-creator of the legendary Beirut Groove Collective parties, Natalie Shooter. Specialising in the sounds of psychedelia, jazz, funk and soul from all over the globe, Natalie has built a significant reputation in the underground scenes of Beirut and London for her eclectic and rare selections. So, we cannot wait to hear what sounds she brings to the night!
The evening will also feature sets from Shedding Histories residents Chameleonas and Bena, plus a very special b2b from Jazz Naila and Nu Balance, taking a dive into a diverse range of underground sounds. So join us and settle in for a cosy evening of explorative listening.

Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.
With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our own drinks such as Vegan Hemp White Russian and homemade Hackney Spiced Rum.
BEIRUT GROOVE COLLECTIVE // RARE RECORDS FROM THE MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA
Founded in 2009, the Beirut Groove Collective (BGC) is the premier destination for obscure soul-fuelled clubbing records from ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s Middle-East, Africa and the rest of the world. For over a decade, the strictly vinyl DJ collective has thrown one of the Middle East’s most popular underground clubnights in Beirut and become a home for some of the leading crate-diggers, DJs and tastemakers from all over the world.
The BGC's clubnights have been included in the New York Times "Top 15" parties around the world, and they've been featured everywhere from The Guardian and Monocle Magazine to ARTE, the BBC, Time Out London and Vice Magazine.
The BGC will bring their distinctive sound to Grow with canal-side sets from DJ, compiler and NTS and Do!! You!!! radio host Ernesto Chahoud and DJ, music journalist and record collector Natalie Shooter. Expect to hear pioneering, genre-forming and obscure records from Lebanon, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Armenia, Kenya and all around the world – from Ethio Jazz and Bellydance Psych to Armenian Org Stompers, Lebanese '60s Garage and Latin-Tarab.
