Helping raise funds for projects in Hackney and Ukraine

Together, we showed how little by little can help a lot. With the support and donations from our customers through Grow’s QR app, we’ve raised whooping £1300 for the Hackney Night Shelter, making an incredible impact and bringing hope and shelter to those facing homelessness.

Your compassion and genorosity has made a tangible difference. The funds will provide essential support for the night shelters, offering emergency shelter to 26 individuals every night, and ensure dedicated staff can continue their vital work. As a community venue, we are grateful to everyone who donated.

Now Supporting ‘By Hand Ukraine’

Last year, Two Hackney men (Simon Cole & David Vannen) travelled to Ukraine to deliver essential supplies. They spent the week liaising with Ukrainian organisations and international volunteers to buy food, candles and medicines with the money raised from a previous fundraising campaign. One of the last things the pair did with the money from our donors was to buy fruit and cereals for children and their parents at a shelter outside Lviv. Just $6 or £5 can buy the following for a child: 1 litre milk; 1kg apples; 0.5kg bananas; 1 box of cornflakes. They now want to return to provide more aid.
