The Drum Driver, Abass Dodoo, who toured with the late Ginger Baker for the last 13 years of his life and recorded an album with Van Morrison invites you to join him for an interactive workshop on Zoom.

If you are curious about African drumming or want to further your horizons on your drumming journey, Abass is here to take on a trip through the history of African drumming whilst showing some classic rhythms and sequences as well as answering your questions.

He will end the session with an exclusive performance.

Abass has taught traditional West African drumming workshops all over the world to thousands of people and is doing this workshop on behalf of Grow, Hackney.
