FullJoy Flex is a vibrant celebration of eclectic dance music and the brainchild of Laani, a powerhouse in the music scene known for her hypnotic blend of nu jazz, neo-soul, afro riddims, broken beat, and house music. Laani’s passion for music is not only evident in her popular Rinse FM radio residency but also in her successful curation of the FullJoy Flex stage at the We Out Here Festival in 2022 and 2023. As the Event Producer at Jazz re:freshed and with extensive experience in marketing at influential labels like Brownswood Recordings & Strut, Laani has been a key player in the UK underground club scene. Her monthly radio show, ‘FULLJOY FLEX’, showcases her love for alternative niche sounds, making her a regular face on the London nu-jazz and live music scene. Joining LAANI in this maiden voyage are:
Allysha Joy, vocalist of the 30/70 Collective has seamlessly forged her own sound over the years, showcasing her skills as a singer, songwriter, keys player, and selector. Performing on the live circuit alongside the likes of Sampa the Great, Matthew Halsall, Ezra Collective, Bradley Zero, and Children of Zeus. She graces the the decks this time around switching singing for selecting records.
Neue Grafik, a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, has been making waves in the music scene over the past few years. He’s built a strong reputation for himself, releasing records on esteemed labels such as Rhythm Section and 22a. His sound is a unique hybrid of jazz, house, and hip-hop, all infused with his unique geographical flavors of African ethnicity, Parisian roots, and a love for London sounds like broken beat and grime.
Ambush is a resident DJ at Noods Radio in Bristol playing a range of soulful house, R&B and jazz bringing the good vibes to the dancefloor.
