Grow is independent and grassroots with international impact. Local and emerging artists are programmed alongside international artists.
Since GROW opened our doors in 2014, we’ve hosted 250+ events each year and had over 150,000 people through our doors.
Young musicians have jammed with Abass Dodoo (Ginger Baker band), Japanese contemporary dancers and indigenous didgeridoo masters from Australia, to name just a few. Our artist partners credit the collaborations, regularity of exposure and payments as helping them hone their craft. Those for come to Grow for the entertainment, food and drink experience a span of genres and together we celebrate diverse culture from around the globe to down the road.

2 YEARS OF SHEDDING HISTORIES WITH POLY-RITMO // JAZZ, LATIN, ZOUK, BRAZILLICA, FUNK
The Shedding Histories crew are back at Grow celebrating their 2nd birthday and the coming of spring, this time featuring incredible DJ and selector Poly-Ritmo
Known for her eclectic and genre bending sets, Poly-Ritmo has become a staple in the London underground scene playing percussive grooves from across the spectrum including jazz, Latin, zouk, Brazilica and funk from around the world. As a result, Poly-Ritmo has become a staple in the UK festival scene playing at spots like Glastonbury, Gala, We Out Here, Shambala, Lost Village and many more. On top of this, she is also the co-founder and creative director of the beautiful 'Basket of Light' festival, which has become known for its special musical and artistic approach.
So come and join Poly-Ritmo and the Shedding Histories crew for a unique evening of sonic explorations on an open and welcoming dance floor at the magical Grow Hackney!

Reserved Tables: While our tickets do not include a table, we encourage you to book one in advance to secure your preferred spot. 30% of our tables are held back for walk-ins, so there’s still a chance to grab a table on the day of the event. If you’d like a table, please visit OpenTable to make a reservation. Arriving early is recommended to secure your seating.

Looking for a twist on the classics? Try our Rum Punch, or our Vegan & Organic Espresso Martini. For those who like a bit of heat, our in-house infused Jalapeño Tequila is perfect for crafting spicy margaritas.
If you’re not drinking, we’ve got you covered. Choose from our selection of live cultured drinks, CBD, raw cacao hot chocolate, and Union Coffee. We also offer a variety of Hackney Herbal Teas. And if you’re in the mood for something special, we mix custom mocktails to order and have non-alcoholic beer on hand.

Grow is thrilled to announce the return of And What? for their first event of 2024, bringing the sensational artists Sunset Sunrise and manliketank to our stage.
Prepare to be captivated as Sunset Sunrise, the audiovisual performance collective takes you on a journey of live electronic music intertwined with immersive projection videography. Engage your senses with this unique blend of sight and sound.
Adding to the excitement, manliketank will be delivering genre-fluid beats, ensuring a dynamic mix of bass music, grime, and everything in between for our audience to groove to.
And that's not all! Their resident DJs Calaida, Fenan, and Joel DEEP will be on hand to curate the perfect ambience throughout the night, spinning the best in Neo Soul, Hip Hop, Bass, Electronica, and more. Hosted by the charismatic MCs Alex Mike the Mic and Caspar Grant.

90% of tickets for this event are available on the door. If you’d like to book a table for you and your friends, click on the widget to the right, select the date of the event and pick your time. There are a limited amount of tables available to book of varying sizes and there are plenty of spaces available for walk-ups on any day. We accept bookings up till 8 pm.

FOOD AND DRINK
Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul. The kitchen is open until 10pm.
With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our spin on such drinks as Rum Punch, homemade Hackney Spiced Rum, Vegan White Russian and Espresso Martini.
