Audio upgrade! With help from the Music Venue Trust

We’d been hoping to replace our amps and audio processors for some time as they are from the 1990’s and all we could afford when we started Grow in 2014.  Recently they were starting to fail and needed replacing ASAP - just at the time when the cost of living crisis was hitting us hard.

Like so many grassroots music venues, the cost of living crisis resulted in increased costs and downturn in people through the door. Money is tight. We pulled together 50% of the funds for the equipment but we still needed the other half so we applied for the Music Venue Trust (MVT) Pipeline Investment Fund which we’d heard about the MVT’s Venue Day 2022.

This upgrade was well overdue but we couldn't afford it even when the equipment finally gave up on us. This funding enabled us to replace equipment and keep our events programme rolling and the sound experience is now fantastic!

We’ve always wanted our tech to match the quality and passion of our creative partners, team and audiences and now it does. Thanks MVT!
