Organise your meetup at GROW
Since we opened in 2014, we’ve been dedicated to welcoming different groups into our space to create, collaborate and connect. It’s an ideal spot to grab a table, host your meetup and enjoy some food and drink if you want, knowing any money spent on refreshments goes back towards supporting a grassroots cultural venue and experiment in ethical and sustainable business.
Looking for a space for your meetup
Maybe you’re looking to organise a group to come together to learn a language, talk about art or host book club? We encourage you to book yourself a table or two at Grow to host the group at no cost to you. Email hello@growhackney.co.uk to find out options for booking a spot.
Local group ‘Stitch in Hackney’ meet at Grow once a month
Hackney Wick enterprise and long term creative partner, Stitch in Hackney is a free crafty gathering hosted at Grow on the last Wednesday of each month. This is what the founder Rachel says about the meetup:
"At Grow, Stitch in Hackney is more than just a creative gathering; it’s a mindful escape. These meet-ups offer a chance to slow down, focus on the rhythmic motions of sewing, knitting, or crocheting, and find a sense of calm amidst the busyness of life.
Crafting alongside others fosters a unique blend of relaxation and connection, providing a mental reset while you share advice, skills, and plenty of inspiration and of course, laughs! It’s the perfect way to nurture creativity and well-being in a supportive and sociable environment, best of all…it’s free!”
In the past, in this little canalside corner of Hackney Wick, we’ve also hosted Frankie’s chess club, celebrated Panoramics magazine launch, and held a Green-zine making workshop, amongst many more experiences as part of Grow Social Programme.
